May 2016 Release Notes

In addition to various performance improvements, user interface updates and error corrections, this release will also include:

Share Manager

The Outbound Share Manager app has been updated to permit initiating new shares for any app that supports sharing directly in the application.  Additionally, columns within the Share Manager app are now sortable and users who have initiated new shares will receive a Message informing them when the share recipient has accepted/rejected the sharing invitation.

Custom Reporting

Users in the Domain Admin group can now delete custom reports.  Reports that are pre-installed by Kahua can not be deleted.    Note: when deleting reports, the report will be removed from all projects and this action cannot be undone.

Referencing Documents

The Referencing Documents table found in most apps has added a thumbnail view.  Clicking the icon indicated below will toggle between the list and thumbnail views.  Hovering over the thumbnail will show the render status and clicking the thumbnail will open the file in the embedded viewer.

New kStore App:  Qualify

The kStore has a new app available.  PreQual Manager (PQM) is an invitation only application that will dramatically simplify and improve the process for qualifying subcontractors seeking to bid on your projects.

This app leverages the power of Kahua collaboration and workflow to make it easy to manage, share, evaluate and store prequalification data. The user can limit or involve as many in the process as desired. In addition, the highest levels of access control, permissions, documentation and audit trails are incorporated in each step of the process.

This app works with the sub's app, Qualify, to make the process extremely seamless. The sub is able to organize, store, update, control and document all their qualification content. When the sub sends the content to the general contractor, all the data is populated in the general contractor's PreQual Manager app.

Mobile Updates

The iOS and Android apps have been updated.  Included in these updates:

-When logging in via a mobile app, the active project from the previous session will remain as your active project

-The Messaging app is now available on mobile devices

-When uploading files on your mobile device, such as pictures, users are now permitted to upload up to 10 files at a time

Download the appropriate app for your device:

Kahua Mobile for Android on Google Play

Mobile app updates will be released as approved by Apple and Google.  It may take up to 14 days for the app updates to become available in each respective store.
