To set up offline access:
- On a device connected to WiFi, go to My Settings and click Offline.
- Set the Enabled toggle to on.
3. Open the project and application to enable.
4. Select Enable (Skip will log the application in My Settings > Offline as not enabled)
Notes: The user is prompted a single time whether to enable an application. If the user Skips enabling, then to turn on for future offline, the user must go to My Settings > Offline and toggle the application on for that project. References are enabled by default.
In this example, Field Observations was skipped.
When an application is enabled, data from the application will be saved to your device. When the data has been downloaded, Kahua will work locally any time your connection is lost. Kahua checks for a lost/found connection approximately every 30 seconds, to avoid intermittent disconnects when working in areas of irregular connections.
